Blacklisted
I've decided to no longer feature any sales from Babbel on Actual Fluency. Here is why:
- The product is discounted too often, and by too much. The savings declared in Black Friday is simply not true. Their Black Friday deal might be 60-70% off, but you can usually always get 50% off on any given month.
- The product is not updated enough, and suffers tremendous quality issues based on the language you pick. Languages like Spanish are fine, and somewhat modern, but less popular languages are outdated and boring.
- The company behind is not good. They basically outsourced their entire marketing and partner management to some soulless marketing company, and they have no concept of communication with their partners - even someone like me who has referred quite a lot of customers their way.
