In the sessions you'll hear me stumble, mumble and make tons of mistakes as I try, desperately, to become conversationally fluent in Russian in just one year.
I have been slacking off a lot in the first half of the year, and I am really intent on correcting that by working super hard here in the last 2 months of the year. That also involves me learning over 5000 words of vocabulary for Russian. That's 70 a day, in case you were curious. I even made a spreadsheet to track my efforts.
I'm releasing a new episode every Sunday, and I also work a lot on adding subtitles. Thank you so much for your feedback from last video and I hope you enjoy this one as well.
In partnership with iTalki I'm giving away a voucher for a free lesson, up to $10.
All you have to do is write a comment below with what I usually cook. The answer can be found in the video, of course. I'll draw the winner randomly. Last week there was only one person who answered, so the chances of winning are quite high.
Last weeks winner: Celine – please contact me with your email address. Congrats!
Previous 2014 Actual Fluency iTalki voucher recipients are not eligible to participate in this give-away.
