Hi Kris, Thank you for all the good work you’re doing. I am catching up on your last two seasons , in the same time, staying up to date with the current one. First of all, I wanted to say that the quality of your audio improved immensely. What annoyed me a bit in the last two seasons was that your voice was always much quieter than your guests and I sometimes could barely hear your question, which is a shame. I mostly listen on the headphones or small speaker while I am commuting to work. Now, during the 3rd seasons, it is great, I can hear everything.
Moreover, I really appreciate all the motivation I am getting from the podcast and I hope they are/will be reflecting on my language learning. My mother tongue is Polish and speak English on quite a high level. Besides, I have some experience learning German, French, Russian and Spanish but I never went further than A1/2 levels. I definitely hope to improve that. My main goal for this year is finally push further my Italian which is around A2 level and finally learn to conversational level- Maltese. I am currently based in Malta and even though I have been living here for almost 4 years, I am still not capable to speak it. The problem is also, that Malta is a bilingual country so we use English everyday and as an expat, I tend to spend more time with other English speaking people in my free time .
Anyway, I wrote more than I should;) If you wish to visit Malta, give me a shout:)
All the best in the New Year!

Great podcast! I loved the part about focusing more on knowing languages well rather than spitting out phrases in every language you know. Good luck with Russian this year. I hope to make the Polyglot Gathering this year, so I’ll say hi in person if I do!

Hey Kris, great podcast! As a young, aspiring polyglot, I find your interviews fascinating and think you’re doing an awesome job connecting language learners around the world. Looking forward to more in the series!
