AFP 68 – Polyglot Conference 2015 Preview
On this week's episode I'm happy to be joined by the organisers of the Polyglot Conference: Ellen Jovin, Richard Simcott and Alex Rawlings to talk about the upcoming New York conference.
Polyglot Conference 2015
One of the two ‘polyglot majors' of the year is the polyglot conference and this 3rd annual edition is scheduled to take place in New York City. During the episode we talk about what to expect, what is different from the last conferences and why you don't need to speak x number of languages to attend.
It's a jovial episode with some of my favourite people in the world. Well worth a listen!
In this episode you will hear about:
- How the Polyglot Conference started
- What is the Polyglot Conference?
- What can you expect to hear at the event
- How many languages do you need to go? (=1)
- How you can watch the lectures if you don't go?
- Why the organisers picked New York City
- Plans for 2016!
- And much more.
This lists the resources relevant to the episode. For other language learning resources please go to the resource page for more information.
