AFP S3E01 – Haikaa Yamamoto: Multilingual singer-songwriter

The podcast is BACK! In this season premiere I talk to singer/song-writer Haikaa Yamamoto who is behind the Work of Art – A global song project in which she sings in more than 20 languages. She also starred in Skype me Maybe a project initiated by Benny Lewis.

We're back!

When the podcast went on a season break I did not expect the break to last this long. However some things happened along the way and then I started questioning myself whether or not the podcast was actually providing value, or if I was just wasting my time.

After meeting several fans of the podcast in New York I'm happy to say I got my mojo back and the podcast is now back to normal production. With a twist! This season has the added benefit of featuring video, so you can have a good look at the guests and me. And my terrible hairstyles – ehm…

I really hope you enjoy this season as I'm sure it will be the best one yet.

Thanks as always for being a loyal listener, for sharing the episodes and also a huge thanks to the people who encouraged me by sending emails, asked what was going on and also to those who were brave enough to step up to a stranger in public and tell them they enjoyed their podcast.

Ask me anything!

I often get asked various questions, so I thought it would be good to start sharing some of the answers with the rest of the world. If you have a question about anything (really!) then fire away. Do notice that I'm not a bonafied expert language learner or polyglot. I'm just trying to do my best as the terrible student I am.

I'd be happy to answer any questions on language learning based on the experience I have from interviewing tons of people, who are way more talented than I am. You can ask your question using this link: Ask Kris a question
